Numberville The early-math game UX we designed

Numberville is an interactive early-math game for children aged 2 to 5. We designed the full UI and game art, taking young learners through numbers, shapes, and basic concepts in a reading-free flow. Designing for toddlers meant every interaction had to be intuitive with no reading ability assumed.

About the project

Numberville The early-math game UX we designed - what we built and why.

Numberville is an interactive early-math game for children aged 2 to 5. We designed the full UI and game art, taking young learners through numbers, shapes, and basic concepts in a reading-free flow. Designing for toddlers meant every interaction had to be intuitive with no reading ability assumed.

Challenges

What we had to solve.

Designing for toddlers means every interaction has to work without any reading ability and forgive small, imprecise hands.

Sequencing numbers, shapes, and concepts into an age-appropriate flow

  • 04

Maintaining a consistent, friendly visual identity across all activities
