Self-custody users keep their own wallet. Custodial balances sit in segregated accounts, reconcile continuously against on-chain holdings, and export to self-custody on demand.
Custodial signing uses multi-party computation, with shares never assembled into a whole key, and a policy engine caps the hot signer at same-day float above quorum-approved cold storage.
Wallets are screened against sanctions, PEP and adverse-media lists and scored by chain analytics; payouts above the local threshold run KYC and travel-rule messaging.

Signing uses multi-party computation: shares are generated in a witnessed ceremony, stored on separated infrastructure, rotated on schedule, and never assembled into a complete key. Contract ownership and treasury addresses sit behind multi-signature quorums.
It depends on what you mint, and we scope that before deployment: collectibles and memberships are treated very differently from anything with profit expectations or fractional ownership. You operate under your own entity and authorisations, and we will not deploy a structure with no lawful basis in its target market.
No. A buyer signs in with email, pays by card, and the collectible appears; the custodial wallet is created invisibly on MPC signing and gas is sponsored. Crypto-native users can still connect their own wallet.
On this marketplace, yes: royalties are enforced at the transfer level by the audited contract and settled through the ledger. Trades on external venues depend on that venue policy, which is why brands run their own storefront.
