A white-label payment gateway that runs under your brand

Zethic Payment Gateway Platform is a white-label payment gateway and payment aggregator you own and operate. It carries your brand, runs in your cloud, keeps the provider terms you already negotiated, and handles multi-acquirer routing, split settlements and payment reconciliation for you.

What it is

What is a white-label payment gateway?

Your product integrates once against one payment gateway REST API, and the routing engine decides which acquirer takes each transaction and how the money settles. You get a flexible, API-based payment stack instead of one integration per acquirer.

Sub-merchant onboarding, KYC capture, per-merchant pricing, split rules and payouts ship with the payment gateway, so it runs as a payment aggregator and a marketplace can take payments for thousands of sellers.

  • One integration
  • Any acquirer
  • Split settlements
  • Your brand, your cloud

Capabilities

What does the payment gateway handle, from checkout to settlement?

Five modules that share one merchant model, one ledger and one audit trail.

Smart routing engine

Rules and live health signals route each authorisation by scheme, geography, ticket size or merchant tier, and fail declines over to the next acquirer.

Own it, don't rent it

Why own your payment gateway infrastructure instead of renting it?

Because you keep your brand on the front, your cloud underneath and your commercial terms intact.

It carries your brand

Your name on the checkout, the dashboard and the receipts, not a third party's.

It runs in your cloud

Deployed into your own account, with your team holding the keys and the data.

You keep your terms

Provider-agnostic, so the pricing and relationships you already negotiated stay yours.

You own the roadmap

Add methods, markets and merchants on your schedule, without waiting on a vendor.

How it's different

How does your own payment gateway compare with a single processor?

Every row below is a place the usual arrangement leaks.

A single processor + manual ops

One integration per acquirer, settlement matched in spreadsheets.

  • A new acquirer means a new integration and a release
  • An acquirer outage takes checkout down
  • Soft declines are lost at checkout, never retried
  • Settlement files reconciled by hand, days later
  • Card data touches your servers, widening PCI scope

Zethic Payment Gateway Platform

One API across every acquirer, with routing, splits and reconciliation built in.

  • A new acquirer is a connector and a routing rule
  • Health checks move traffic over without human action
  • Recoverable declines retry on another acquirer in-session
  • Files matched automatically; only exceptions surface
  • Cards tokenised in a segregated vault, scope contained

How it works

How do you go from integration to automatic payment reconciliation?

  1. 01 Week 1

    Integrate once

Point your checkout at the hosted page, SDK or REST API.

Sandbox keysREST + webhooksHosted or embedded
  2. 02 Week 2–3

    Connect your acquirers

Your acquiring relationships, wallet providers and bank rails become connectors, with routing rules written against the terms you already negotiated.

    Your acquirersYour pricingRouting rules
  3. 03 Shadow run

    Prove it on live traffic

The platform mirrors production traffic without moving money, so you can compare its routing and reconciliation against your current stack.

    Shadow modeSide-by-sideNo cutover risk
  4. 04 Go live

Cut over and close the day

    Shift traffic percentage by percentage.

    Phased cutoverAuto reconciliationException queue

See it before you commit

A typical rollout runs in shadow mode against live traffic first, so you can compare routing and reconciliation before a single payment moves.

Use cases

Who is a payment gateway you control built for?

Teams that process payments on behalf of others, such as marketplaces paying thousands of sellers.

01 Marketplace

A marketplace paying thousands of sellers

One shopper payment splits across the seller, platform commission and tax withholding, each with its own payout schedule and reserve.

Split, held and paid out without custom scripts

02 PSP / aggregator

A payment service provider launching under its own brand

The PSP onboards sub-merchants through guided KYC, prices each on its own MDR, and routes traffic across its own acquiring relationships.

A branded PSP stack without building one

03 High volume

A retailer whose checkout cannot go down

Traffic is weighted across three acquirers.

Checkout survives an acquirer incident

04 Cross-border

A platform selling into several regulated markets

Payment methods, acquirers and settlement currencies are configured per country, with data kept in the tenancy each regulator expects.

New market added by configuration

Integrations

Which acquirers, banks and tools does the payment gateway connect to?

It is API-first and acquirer-agnostic, so it plugs into the relationships you already hold.

Paymentcore Domestic card acquirers International acquirers Card schemes & network tokens Alternative payment providers Bank host-to-host files UPI / account-to-account rails SWIFT & local wires Wallet providers

Security & compliance

Can the payment gateway pass a payments security review?

Yes. Here is where card data lives, who can reach it and what is logged.

Encryption everywhere

AES-256 at rest with per-tenant key separation and TLS 1.3 in transit, with vault keys in a managed KMS or HSM.

Immutable transaction audit trail

Every authorisation, routing decision, refund, split and payout is written to an append-only log with the rule applied.

Data residency you choose

Deploy into your own cloud account or a regional tenancy, with per-market tenancies isolated from each other entirely.

  • PCI DSS-aligned architecture
  • AES-256 / TLS 1.3
  • ISO 27001 controls
  • GDPR-aligned data handling
  • SOC 2 Type II In progress
  • PCI DSS certification Scoped per deployment

Frequently asked

Answers to your questions

Still unsure? Send us the question you actually need answered and a senior engineer will reply.

Book a demo
Do we have to switch acquirers to use the platform?

No. The payment gateway is acquirer-agnostic and sits in front of the relationships you already hold, on the pricing you already negotiated, so it works as a payment platform for multi-acquirer routing from day one. Most rollouts start with the incumbent acquirer in shadow mode.

Is cardholder data secure, and what happens to our PCI scope?

Card numbers are captured in hosted fields and exchanged immediately for a token in a segregated vault, so your app, logs and database only see tokens. The architecture is designed to keep your wider stack out of PCI DSS scope; exact scope and certification path are confirmed per deployment.

Can it integrate with our existing core, ERP and risk providers?

Yes. Everything is exposed over versioned REST APIs and signed webhooks with idempotency keys and OpenAPI specs. Acquirers, KYC providers, fraud engines, payout rails and accounting systems are connectors behind documented interfaces. In store, it pairs with our POS software with split tenders.

Where is the data hosted, and can we keep it in-country?

You choose. The platform deploys into your own cloud account or a regional tenancy we operate. Multi-market operators can run isolated per-country tenancies with no data crossing between them.

How does it handle regulatory compliance for aggregation?

The payment gateway provides the operational controls a regulated payment aggregator needs: guided KYC and KYB capture with document retention, sanctions and PEP screening hooks, per-merchant risk limits, maker-checker approval on payouts, and an immutable audit trail. Licensing and regulatory authorisation remain yours as the operator. Operators that need to hold marketplace funds in escrow until conditions clear can add our escrow settlement platform.
